THREATS TO THE AREA
The more outside influences have come into the area, the more threatened it has become. These are some of the ones we have had to deal with:

Serere has an important population of jaguars, ocelots, pumas, and other felines. |

Spider monkey which has been reintroduced in Serere. |

Frogs have become an endangered species due to global warming. Serere has an important variety of frogs, among them some used in medicine. |
